AIRPLANE SELLING CHECK LIST

When preparing to sell your aircraft, there are a number of things that should be done. The following checklist will help you identify and correct any deficiencies that will occur during the course of sale.
 

 Decide to sell aircraft and how it will be sold.

 Prepare the aircraft for sale by cleaning, shampooing, or detailing the     aircraft.

 Consider a fresh annual inspection to catch any items that will be caught     during a pre-purchase inspection of which you will be most likely required     to do.

 Do a title search to confirm clear title.

 Notify your insurance company of any changes before and after the sale.

 Notify your bank or financial institution and make arrangements for pay off     figures to be handled with wire transfer of funds, bank checks, etc.

 Where can aircraft be seen, in hanger or on site with appropriate access     both to aircraft and airport entry.
